Highland Haus is where two histories become one home. Nestled in La Cresta, California's rugged hills, our five-acre estate weaves Highland heritage with Germanic winemaking tradition, creating something new while honoring generations past.

 

Our story begins with family. A husband and wife with agricultural roots planted themselves in California soil overlooking the Santa Rosa Plateau, where cabernet vines grow alongside avocado groves, peach orchards, and generations of roses. Every Labor Day, family and friends gather for harvest, ensuring community connection flows into every bottle. This embodies cèilidh, the Gaelic gathering tradition that inspired our debut wine, Erstcèilidh ("First Gathering"). We're honest craftspeople who love good stories, appreciate well-told jokes, and believe the best conversations happen over shared bottles.​ Highland Haus Winery is a place where heritage lives, community gathers, and exceptional wine flows freely.
